Happy Ramadan from the Royal Australian Navy

The Defence imam might be gone but it does not mean that the rot has been sorted.

Our favourite naval officer provides this Ramadan address. In uniform…

  1. Muslims in Australia comprise 2-3%. Muslims in Australian defense forces comprise 0.1%. So this demographic are massively unrepresented in the defense of this nation yet here we are promoting nonsense ramadan from this medieval cult whilst at war with their biggest fanatics? The mind boggles.

  6. As an ex RAN stoker, proud of my service and having served at a time when the likes of Mona Shindy would not have been an ordinary seaman let alone a commissioned officer. It is beyond me to understand how/ why our government and defence heads see the need to employ this thing. What has gone wrong with our once proud RAN.

  8. This message from Capt Mona is brought to us by our Owners – Those Who Must Be Obeyed and from whom emanate such mantras as ‘Diversity is our Strength’ as downloaded 24/7 on the prole feed.

If one is to believe the ‘Happy Ramadan’ message, then Ramadan is that happy time when the Religion of Peace is fasting as a religious duty and is ever more zealous to extend the helping hand to the larger community with gifts of service and invitations to dinner and special treats etc. And that reminds me of another mantra from our Owners – ‘the value of cultural enrichment’.

In Australia, there are a lot of religions / cultural traditions that observe fasting at certain times. There is one (pop quiz) which in the practice of its corporal works of mercy actually built much of the social infrastructure of this country. Secular Australians tend to think all this is pretty square and do not like or favourite this type of thing on Facebook. But ‘holy Ramadan’ is being pushed on the ordinary seculars like it is on the collective bucket list.

Do we ever hear about holy seasons and fasts of any other religions in Australia from the FakeNN in a positive light?

But there is no end of ‘cultural enrichment’ and ‘diversity is our strength’ promotions from Muslim flavour-of-the-month widgets like Capt Shindy regarding Ramadan.

Bring back the Australians of the old joke about anti-religion in Oz. Two boozy yobs were on a park bench. Yob 1 begins to berate the other: “The trouble with youse is youse got no religion. No religion. Youse wouldn’t even know the Lord’s Prayer, jeers Yob 1. I bet you two bob you wouldn’t even know the Lord’s Prayer.” Yob 2 : “I do so have religion. I learned as a kid. And I do too know the Lord’s Prayer. Now I lay me down to sleep…” Yob 1 : ‘B***er me you do too. Here’s your two bob.”

I’ll take Yob 1 and Yob 2 over ‘holy Ramadan’ and the Poster Muslims any day.

  9. Mr Gaynor, like all devout Christians I have a real penchant for truth and honesty which as you must be aware of has reached a point in this country where these values are being eroded to suit the agenda of the individual or organization who posts remarks or stories which are aimed at the uneducated masses.Judging by the comments I have just read above it concerns me that a man with your background would be targeting this type of person…If you want to be taken seriously then get serious !!!

  13. I lost faith in the Australian Defense Service some time ago. It would cost quite a bit less to employ a completely Mercenary Force in place of the shambolically quasi-Moslem organization we have now. Used to be proud to turn up at ANZAC Parades till recently. No longer. We seem to have sold out on the memory of thousands of Australian and New Zealand Servicemen of the past Century to appease Allah bloody Almighty. Allow me to register my disgust.

  14. Im deeply concerned in the flaws in our system which enabled our community to be so vulnerable having islamists there in the first place.
I suspect the rot is deeper than could be imagined

  15. I really worry when officers with Muslim ideology are in a position of control.Where in the world does this ideology work in harmony with any other religion?? Maybe this officer is a wonderful woman, but then maybe she isnt. It is normal for us to doubt people from this religion as we see them and their atrocities daily , from around the globe.Either their religion should be modified for this modern world otherwise how can we trust , believe ,embrace and assimilate..
