I have spent the last few weeks campaigning across Queensland. I’ve even flown to Mount Isa in a Spitfire.
All across the state the reception has been extremely positive. People are sick of political correctness. They want action to end wasteful government spending. They are very concerned about Islam. They don’t trust Turnbull or Shorten.
And they are turning to the Australian Liberty Alliance.
It is hard to tell how we are travelling in any objective sense. All I know is that in just six months the Australian Liberty Alliance has built itself into the fourth largest team in Queensland, behind the red, green and blue established parties.
That, in itself, is a serious achievement. I am proud of all who have volunteered and they are making a difference. If you would like to help out on Saturday, please click here.
On Saturday night we held our main campaign launch in Queensland. Nearly 300 people attended and the night has provided us with momentum as we move towards our first election campaign. You can watch all the speeches here.
In further good news, a report by the Australian Institute of Progress released today indicates that the Australian Liberty Alliance will receive significant support in the Senate. The media and political elite are set for a shock on Saturday. And whatever the result, we are here for the long haul. Debt and Islam – two issues threatening Australia’s future – are only going to get worse under Turnbull or Shorten.
This video was released late last week on my Facebook page. It has now been viewed nearly 200,000 times on Facebook and has been shared by more than 3,000 people.
It highlights exactly why I am fighting this election: the future of our children is at stake. The good news is that an army of patriotic Australians is taking up the fight. I am proud to stand with them.
