Conservative: Pyne is doing it ‘Wong’

Christopher Pyne is one of the leading figures in the supposedly ‘conservative’ Turnbull government.

Yet he’s out and about campaigning with the Greens’ Sarah Hanson-Young and Labor’s Penny Wong. It’s part of a campaign from Liberal politicians claiming that legalising homosexual marriage will strengthen the institution of marriage and is in keeping with conservative principles.

All I can say is that if you claim to be ‘conservative’ but are campaigning with the Wong and Hanson-Young, you’re doing ‘conservative’ wrong…

Meanwhile, Senator Cory Bernardi has spearheaded the launch of the ‘No’ campaign.

This debate is not just about marriage. When the dust is settled, it’s likely the entire political spectrum in Australia will be realigned. And Cory Bernardi’s Australian Conservatives is set to be one of the big winners.

  1. If the Greens and Labour had any inkling of the loathing which we they are loathed outside of their coalition of whinging minorities, they would never have permitted a photo-op like this.

A lot of people who mark their ballot starting with LAST, people who otherwise would have put the plebiscite ballot straight in the bin because it came from the government, I confidently predict – if they see this photo-op are going to vote NO.

  2. This smiling, exuberant crowd holding up VOTE YES placards is meant to convey to the target audience that homosexual marriage is
morally valid. The simple truth is that homosexual marriage is against God’s natural order of creation. No amount of voting ‘yes’ will ever change this fact. These people are doomed to spiritual unhappiness because they are chasing after the impossible miracle that somehow their lifestyle will bring them peace. The inescapable fact is that their consciences say the opposite.

Neither two nuts nor two bolts a bond doth make. T’aint gonna work, period!
